Without proper insurance coverage for most people in the U.S. I would not be surprised if we do face a health crises. Most of everything we eat in U.S. comes from Mexico or California. In Los Angeles people travel to Mexico on a weekly bases sometimes or even drive to Mexico or T.J. for the weekend. LA is a center for shipments from Mexico, and we have very large Mexican population here. Low income people, or even the middle class cannot afford a visit to the doctor since most don’t have insurance. It is common knowledge here that getting sick means waiting until the last hour before one goes to the doctor, or else risk loosing ones savings to a visit in the emergency room. So I only hope that more is done to encourage people to visit the doctor even if it means making exceptions regarding payments which I doubt our health care system will for any reason.
